The BUROTOP IRIS Foundation, in partnership with the Rotary Club Brazzaville Bilengue, recently organized a blood drive at Brazzaville’s Centre National de Transfusion Sanguine (CNTS) to mark World Blood Donor Day. The aim of this initiative was to raise public awareness of the importance of giving blood and saving lives.
Donating blood is a gesture of altruism and solidarity that can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of those who need it. Mr Issa Attye, Managing Director of Burotop, also lent his support to this laudable initiative by donating his blood.
In all, more than 120 blood bags were collected by the end of the event, testifying to the community’s generosity and commitment to this vital cause. The BUROTOP IRIS Foundation is delighted with this successful initiative, which will help save lives and improve the health of people in need.
