The BUROTOP IRIS Foundation celebrated International Women’s Rights Day by distributing loincloths and T-shirts to new mothers, care assistants and nurses at the Makelekele base hospital. The aim was to honor and support women who work hard to improve the health of their communities. The loincloths and T-shirts were distributed in the hope of boosting women’s pride in their daily work and their essential role in society.
This initiative by the BUROTOP IRIS Foundation once again demonstrates its commitment to women’s rights and to improving working conditions for healthcare professionals. By offering loincloths and T-shirts, she also encouraged greater solidarity between women in their fight for equality and justice.
