The BUROTOP IRIS Foundation demonstrated its commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS by taking part in the march organized by the AVSI association in Pointe-Noire on Sunday December 1. The aim of the walk was to raise public awareness of the risks associated with the disease, and to mobilize all those involved in the fight against it. The Foundation supported this initiative by setting up a screening booth in front of the prefecture. This action enabled many people to find out their HIV status and receive important information on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
Health being one of the priorities of the BUROTOP IRIS Foundation, it responded favorably to this request to contribute to the fight against HIV/AIDS. Indeed, by supporting this walk and setting up a screening stand, the Foundation demonstrated its commitment to promoting the health and well-being of the population of Pointe-Noire. It was therefore an important civic action that raised awareness, screened and directed people living with HIV/AIDS towards the appropriate care structures.
